Takes some practice, when in a pickle this is a good option. Especially compared to other urinal options as any splash factors are contained. When I'm not working, my life revolves around fishing and travel. In my hobbies, bathroom breaks are often an adventure in of themselves. I have spent money on everything from a female funnel to a portable toilet seat (I wish I was exaggerating). Not only has this been a waste of money, it has lead to my friends and family having plenty of laughs at my expense. ... I was intrigued by the design and the lack of, "ick factor" ... so I went for it. [GottaTinkle] was worth every penny! I first used the device at a concert tailgate. I love GottaTinkle. Let’s face it ladies, squatting over a toilet is not easy, sometimes my legs get tired from holding this position, and then what’s worse, is the urine stream splitting in two or three and missing the toilet all together or getting on my leg. With GottaTinkle, I never have to worry about missing the toilet or fatigue from prolonged squatting. Also, it is easy to use and saves me the time and trouble of having to cover the toilet seat with pieces of toilet paper! Being in the medical field, I love the practical use of collecting urine samples easily. Also, it has helped me with my own monitoring of how hydrated I am. I am so busy that I often forget to drink water during the workday. Using GottaTinkle gives me the ability to actually see how hydrated I am and reminds me to keep up my fluids. Most of all, I love GottaTinkle because I can bring it anywhere. I love to travel and have been to South America and Europe. I love having an alternative to squatting over a dirty toilet seat on a plane, train, restaurant or other remote location. Camping Essential ... Especially with Kids
We took GottaTinkle! with us on our annual summer camping trip to North Carolina. The device was great on the long way up from Florida, we used it at rest-stops and even in the car for a night-time emergency when we were too far away from any bathrooms. My daughters love how easy it is to use and love not having to sit on wet or dirty toilets. We used it on all of our hikes and when we went fishing on a rented boat - the girls did not want to jump in the cold water just to pee. At our campsite we put up a small bathroom tent with a foldable toilet behind our tent. If we only needed to pee, we simply used GottaTinkle! which was way cheaper than the toilet bags and much simpler to toss out afterwards. Purchased GottaTinkle! for outdoor events - such as sporting events, concerts, fairs & festivals. We have an annual golf memorial and a bunch of us women sit at the 17th hole for hours. Great Product for Women & Girls!
And, Fathers Too!!! I love this product. I have three girls. It has always been so difficult when we go out for the day, as one of our girls always seems to have to pee at the worst time. I hate using public bathrooms because they are usually disgusting and I don't have the patience to wrestle with cheap toilet paper to cover the toilet for my kids. With GottaTinkle, they can just pee right into the bag (by themselves) and neither of us have to touch the toilet. All I have to do is wait for them to finish. It's so easy for them, they actually used it inside my SUV or on our fishing boat - which does not have a bathroom. They are not always keen on jumping into the middle of the ocean just to pee. I have also use the product on car trips (love avoiding the long lines at rest stops) and when we go camping. The girls just go to the bathroom right inside the tent, great when it's night time or raining. Although I initially started with just one that we shared (it never gets dirty because the collection bag wraps around it and gets tossed), my 10 year old has her own now because she likes to carry it around. I used it for the first time camping at a Boy Scout training event. It was so cold outside and I was so happy that I didn't have to get my shoes and coat on to go outside to tinkle, even though the bathroom was in a building. I was able to stay on my knees in the tent and confidently tinkle, zip the bag, put it in a shopping bag outside the door of my tent under the rain fly. I did this twice during the night and in the morning I took it to the bathroom emptied the zip locks into the toilet, threw the bags away, washed my hands & done. Easy "pee"-sy. I loved it! On a previous hike on the AT (Appalachian Trail), I did not want to leave my tent through the night and go in the woods to tinkle. On my upcoming AT hike, I did not want to go through that ordeal again. I started searching the internet and came across several options. I saw a problem with the other products with having to still tinkle outside the tent and having to sanitize the device. Your product alleviates that and it is smaller and less bulky (space is at a premium when your backpacking). Needless to say, I'll be carrying this on my 3 week hike on the Appalachian Trail!
